At Hampton Magna Pre-School we recognise the value that communication and technology plays in the learning and development of the children. Children are given access to ICT equipment, to develop skills that are vital to life-long learning. However, we acknowledge that there are potential risks involved, and therefore we will ensure online safety is followed for the benefit of the children, parents, staff, and visitors to the Pre-School.
Young children will inevitably have access to smartphones, tablets, or similar devices on a daily basis and often without adult supervision. Through raising awareness of online risks at an early age, children will be better protected as they grow up.
