Safeguarding

At Hampton Magna Pre-School we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children.  We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued.  We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.

Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are Katrina Jakeway (Pre-School Manager) Hannah Gelfs (Pre-School Deputy Manager). All staff are appropriately trained and our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy is regularly reviewed to ensure it is consistent with statutory requirements and Warwickshire Safeguarding (www.safeguardingwarwickshire.co.uk).

We provide the highest level of safety and security for the children in our care with their welfare being paramount. There is a secure door entry system to ensure that anyone arriving at the Pre-School is fully monitored, signed into the building and supervised throughout the duration of their visit.

Our equipment is carefully selected to ensure that all items are age appropriate and are completely safe for the children to access. The building is maintained as appropriate.

Should anyone other than yourselves be collecting children from the Pre-School then we ask that you set up a confidential password to be kept on record; we will then ask for this on their arrival to the Pre-School. Without such information we will be unable to release the children into their care.
